This recipe is quick and easy, the opposite of a good night some would say. However, these red noodles of love (and gochujang) will guarantee you a steamy evening with your better half! Belive me !
As you might have guessed from the use of gochujang, this recipe is Korean-inspired. The dish would be perfectly at home served in a small eatery in Korea, with a bit of melted cheese inside and it would almost be tteokbokki.
The most observant among you will almost recognize my lazy noodles recipe. And you’d be right! This is part of my strategy where I’m gradually going to make you realize that even a noodle recipe with about ten ingredients isn’t that complicated!

Then, tell yourself that these are just lazy noodles with a little more love… and you also have the buldak carbonara ramen recipe for those with more refined tastes
Because yes, many of you were complaining about the list of ingredients for my ultimate chicken noodles, so we’re going back to basics!
How to have a perfect date with the love noodles?
Okay, I admit I lied a little. IF you want a successful date, you still need to have some stuff on the sides with the noodles.

So, in addition to alcohol, I recommend making a rose syrup to impress. Simple, inexpensive but very exotic. You find a rose bush, pick a few and you’re all set!
If you want some meat with that, you need something rather neutral in terms of spiciness. I recommend the satay beef which takes a bit of time, but it’s not active cooking time so you can easily put it to cook in advance and take it out just in time with the noodles

Ingredients
- 200 g of pre-cooked noodles
Sauce
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 1.5 tablespoon of gochujang
- 1.5 tablespoon light soy sauce
- 2.5 tablespoons of honey
- 1.5 tablespoon oil
Instructions
- Caramelize all the sauce ingredients in the wok over medium-high heat
- Add the noodles and mix for 5 minutes
- Garnish with spring onions and sesame seeds

These love noodles have become our go-to for chilly fall date nights, and that spicy caramel sauce is so addictive we end up making them almost every weekend 😋
Pleasant surprise: my partner is usually super picky (and hates anything spicy), but these love noodles disappeared in minutes and they even asked for seconds 😅
Super simple mais hyper savoureux, et étonnamment léger pour des nouilles caramélisées ! Avec l’ail, les oignons verts et les graines de sésame, ça fait un plat bien équilibré et nourrissant sans être trop lourd 🙂
Made these last night and swapped half the honey for brown sugar to get a deeper caramel vibe. Let the sauce bubble for an extra minute before adding the noodles, and it turned out even better with that glossy, sticky coating 😋
