Tips for perfectly cooked tuna

Adjust the cooking time to your preferred texture

If you like your tuna pink in the center, 4 to 5 minutes at 200 °C is enough. For a slightly more cooked result, leave it in for up to 6 minutes. Keep a close eye on it so the fish doesn’t dry out.

Shorten or extend the marinating time

Allowing the tuna to marinate for an hour is ideal, as it gives the fish time to soak up all the flavors. If you’re short on time, however, about 30 minutes will do. The longer it marinates, the more pronounced the aromas will be.

Use parchment paper carefully

When you place the tuna on a sheet of parchment paper in the air fryer, make sure the paper does not touch the heating elements. This prevents scorching and ensures the hot air can circulate properly around the fish.
