Ingredients for Matcha Lava Toast

The star here, and the source of that gorgeous color, is matcha, specifically culinary-grade matcha. Using ceremonial matcha for this recipe would be wasteful; culinary grade is made for cooking. Its flavor is slightly less complex, a difference you’ll hardly notice in a dish like lava toast.

Lava

  • 120 ml of whipped cream
