Topped with a fried egg for brunch or to cap off a delicious meal… this matcha lava toast adds a delicately sweet hint of green to any plate.
Ingredients for Matcha Lava Toast
The star here, and the source of that gorgeous color, is matcha, specifically culinary-grade matcha. Using ceremonial matcha for this recipe would be wasteful; culinary grade is made for cooking. Its flavor is slightly less complex, a difference you’ll hardly notice in a dish like lava toast.
