Asian Honey Garlic caramelized chicken
Ingredients
- 4 boneless chicken thighs, skin on and flattened by tapping with a knife
- 1 tablespoon salted butter
Sauce
- 3 tablespoons of oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
- 5 pods minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 1 pinch pepper
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
Procédé
- Season chicken on both sides with salt and pepper
- In a bowl, combine sauce ingredients
- In a large frying pan, over medium-high heat with a base of oil, brown the chicken for 4 minutes on each side. Set aside.
- Add the butter followed by the sauce to the pan over medium heat.
- Allow to reduce
- Raise heat to high and return chicken, cooking for 2 minutes on each side (until sauce sticks).
- Transfer the chicken to a cutting board and cut into neat strips.
- Serve with rice
