The ingredients for garlic chicken

Light soy sauce: Classic salty soy sauce that can be found in absolutely all supermarkets nowadays. Really no excuse not to get some!

Sesame oil: Flavored oil with a divine taste, which is even very powerful… so be careful not to overuse it!

Corn starch or cornflour: On one hand, it allows for an incredible texture for the meat and on the other, it thickens the sauce for a nice syrupy consistency as we like it

How to make garlic chicken?

Nothing could be simpler! As I write this, I even think that this somewhat descriptive section is completely unnecessary for this recipe hahaha.

Basically, you just need to heat up a pan or a wok. Meanwhile, cut your chicken and mix the sauce.

Then, all you have to do is first sauté the chicken and finally add the sauce and thicken it all. And voilà, done in less than 15 minutes if you manage the parallel timings well

Ingredients

  • 400 g of chicken, diced

SAUCE

  • 5 cloves of garlic, sliced
  • 70 g light soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons of Shaoxing wine
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Procédé

  • Mix the sauce in a bowl
  • Sear the chicken in a pan over medium-high heat with a little oil for 2-3 minutes
  • Add the sauce and stir for 5-7 minutes until the chicken is cooked and the sauce thickens

Notes

Wait for the pan to be well heated before adding the chicken
