Absolutely delicious, the sauce is perfection and so quick! 😋
Did not expect my picky partner to go for anything with spring onions, but they cleaned the plate and even asked for seconds 🙂
This stir-fried beef with spring onions took me right back to weeknight dinners at my grandma’s, when the kitchen smelled like soy sauce and sizzling wok heat. She always swore the secret was a quick marinade and a pinch of sugar in the sauce, and this tastes just like that comforting plate I grew up with 🙂
Wasn’t convinced the cornstarch marinade and that mix of light and dark soy would make much difference, but the beef came out incredibly tender and the sauce clung perfectly to everything 😋
