Procédé
Cut the avocado open and remove the pit. Scoop out the flesh with a spoon and place it in small chunks in the immersion blender beaker.
avocado
Add the cocoa. And blend! Cup your hand around the blender shaft at the rim of the beaker. The cocoa can fly up, and breathing it in is no fun...
10 g raw cacao powder,
or unsweetened cocoa powder
Once the mousse is smooth, taste it. When you eat a sugar-free diet, your cravings for sweetness decrease. For a sweeter mousse, add erythritol.
10 g powdered erythritol
Add a pinch of salt to get that 'salted' effect you find in salted caramel, for example.
pinch salt (Celtic sea salt)
If desired, add a little (fresh) mint if the avocado flavor is too dominant.
pinch mint
The mousse is quite firm; for a looser consistency, add a little almond milk if desired.
