Much simpler than my garlic and honey wings, the sauce coating these wings is no less divine!  \n\n\n\nFor the dipping sauce for the wings, you can check out my ultimate sauce for wings and fried foods.\n\n\n\nMain Ingredients for Soy Sauce Wings\n\n\n\n\nLight soy sauce: if you're not sure what it is, here's my article on the subject\n\n\n\nCold sparkling water: helps you achieve a good crispiness \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\tSoy Sauce Wings\n\t\t\n\t\tAn easy asian-inspired recipe for crispy soy sauce wings\t\n\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\n\t\t24 chicken wingsMarinade1 teaspoon of salt1 teaspoon of black pepper1 pinvh of Chinese five-spice powder1 tablespoon of garlic powderFrying batter60 g cornstarch120 g wheat flour2 eggs180 g cold sparkling water2 teaspoons of garlic powder1.5 Teaspoon of paprika1 pinch of salt1 pinch of pepperSauce132 g light soy sauce3.5 tablespoons of honey1 teaspoon   of Chinese five-spice powder2 teaspoons of cornstarch3 tablespoons of cold water\t\n\t\n\t\t Marinate the chicken for 20 minutes (or even overnight) In a large bowl, mix the batter Add the chicken and let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes In a pan, pour frying oil and heat it to 165\u00b0C (330F). Carefully add the chicken to the oil and fry for 6-7 minutes  Remove the chicken, increase the heat to 180\u00b0C (360 F) and fry for another 2-3 minutes or until crispy and golden In a saucepan, add the soy sauce, honey, garlic, and five-spice powder.  Bring to a boil over medium heat and cook for 3 to 5 minutes. Mix 2 teaspoons of cornstarch with 3 tablespoons of cold water.  Pour the cornstarch mixture into the sauce and simmer for another minute or until it thickens.
